Children’s Health Physical Therapy Facilities

Our team worked with Children’s Health on various projects. Of these projects, I was heavily involved in the interior renovations of two physical therapy facilities, one in-patient and one out-patient, in the Dallas area. For both of these facilities, the primary concept revolved around the idea of play, and the team participated in several visioning exercises to arrive at this conclusion. As a team, we hoped to invoke a playful environment to sooth the young patients nerves. We sought to emulate nature with our designs of a tree like canopy within the ceiling, river shaped flooring patterns, and woodland creature art.

Additional renovations for Children’s Health included smaller ancillary physical therapy gyms in the suburbs of Dallas and the renovation of administrative spaces.
